This weekend (2/23) the kids and grandkids went snowmobiling in the big meadow behind Canyon Rim and ran onto a lone elk who laying down enjoying the sun. He looked healthy so spring can't be too far away!
• A quakie-covered mountainside • 7 miles east of Oakley, Utah • Five-acre lots (over half with cabins) • Endless views of the Weber River, Mt Timpanogos, moose, deer, hawks, and the Milky Way.

GETTING STUCK IS PART OF THE ADVENTURE ...
PATH INTO THE FRONT DOOR OF THE CABIN.
"GILL'S HILL" CAMP UTLEY, UNDER A BLANKET OF SNOW.
DURING A RACE IN THE MEADOW, AN OLD WOMAN ON A POLARIS BEAT TWO YOUNG BOYS ON ARCTIC CATS. TWICE.
DEEP POWDER, INDEED!
THERE IS A GREAT DEAL OF SNOW AT CANYON RIM RANCHES! IN CASE ANY OF YOU ARE WONDERING HOW MUCH SNOW WE HAVE, TAKE A LOOK AT THESE PICS. WE DID A FAIR AMOUNT OF SNOWMOBILING AND AN EQUAL AMOUNT OF DIGGING OUT OF DEEP POWDER. IT WAS ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL! IT BODES WELL FOR THE AMOUNT OF WATER WE WILL REAP IN THE SPRING!
